Brose Baskets is a German professional basketball club that is based in Bamberg, Franconia. The club competes in the German League and the Euroleague. The club's home arena is Stechert Arena, formerly known as Jako Arena.

The club won the German Championship for the first time in its history in 2005, and became the first German club to qualify for the Euroleague Top 16. The team lost in the first play-off round of the 2007-08 BBL season against EWE Baskets Oldenburg. Bamberg could not rise up to the occasion and did not manage to defend their title of 2006-07. They won the national basketball cup and the German Championship of the german basketball league (BBL) in the season of 2009-10 and in the season of 2010-11[1].
